I drove by the Dollar Tree the other day and I noticed that they were filling up the shelves with Easter decorations. Honestly, they have some pretty nice stuff! I decided to challenge myself and see if I could actually make a decent Easter wreath using only supplies from the dollar store. Could it be done? The next day I went to the dollar store and loaded up on all things Easter. To be honest, I had to buy the actual grapevine wreath at A.C. Moore as the dollar store does not sell them. However, the good news is that A.C. Moore sells large vine wreaths for only $4.99 and you can use a coupon (total price was about $3).
I was super impressed with the selection at the dollar store. They had a huge display of artificial spring flowers….all types and colors (obviously, it doesn’t take much to make me happy). They also had a variety of Easter ribbon and of course, rabbits, chicks, eggs…you name it! When all was said and done, I spent approximately $14 (this includes the grapevine wreath!). What a bargain! So, YES, you can make an Easter wreath using craft materials and decorations from the dollar store! Why spend more money if you don’t have to?!
So that’s it for now my crafty friends! Why not make your own wreath using dollar store craft supplies! I would love to see what you come up with.
